Park Regis Junior FC is supporting Play Safe Weekend on 3–4 October 2026.
This year’s message is “Keep Up The Convo”. Safeguarding is not only about knowing what to do when something is wrong; it is also about creating everyday opportunities for children and young people to talk, and making sure they feel heard.

A conversation can happen before a match, on the sidelines, while setting up or packing away, in the car on the way home, or at pick-up and drop-off. When adults regularly talk, listen and respond, children and young people are more likely to feel comfortable speaking up if something is worrying them.
We encourage our coaches, volunteers, parents, players, referees and everyone connected with Park Regis Junior FC to keep the conversation going — not only during Play Safe Weekend, but throughout the season.
Sometimes the most important question is simply: “How’s it going?” Then take the time to hear the answer.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. Together, we can help make football a safe, positive and enjoyable place for every child.
