Every child deserves to feel safe, supported and listened to when playing football.
England Football’s Play Safe 2026 campaign encourages everyone involved in grassroots football to “Keep Up The Convo” – making time to talk with children and young people, listen to their experiences and take their concerns seriously.
At Park Regis Junior Football Club, we want football to be a positive, enjoyable and safe experience for every player.

How can we all help?
- Parents and carers: Regularly ask your child how they’re enjoying football and encourage them to share any worries.
- Coaches and managers: Create a welcoming, inclusive environment where every player feels respected and heard.
- Players: Support your teammates, treat others with respect and speak to a trusted adult if something concerns you.
- Spectators: Encourage all players positively and help make the touchline a friendly place.
- Club volunteers: Follow safeguarding procedures and ensure concerns are taken seriously.
Small conversations make a big difference.
Whether it’s before training, after a match or on the journey home, taking time to listen helps children feel valued and supported.
If you have a safeguarding concern, please contact the club’s Welfare Officer.
